Since running for council in October 2010, Sasha has been very busy around the community of the Crowsnest Pass.
She currently sits on several local boards and committee's.
- Sasha sits currently as an executive member of the Crowsnest Pass Ratepayer's Association. She represents the community of Coleman, and the rest of the Crowsnest Pass. If you have any questions or concerns, Sasha can be reached most anytime at 403-563-6073.
- Sasha has been a Member-at-Large on the Crowsnest Pass Senior Housing Board since January of 2011. She is currently serving a three year term. The Crowsnest Pass Senior Housing Board has been actively trying to raise funds for the York Creek Lodge renovation and expansion, including the DALD wing. The board serves the community by representing and managing the York Creek Lodge & Tecumseh Mountain Manor in Blairmore and the Westwinds Apartments in Bellevue. Sasha developed and designed the website for these senior residence's. She continues to maintain and work on the upkeep of this website.
- Sasha also served briefly on the Municipal Heritage board. She was appointed to this board in December of 2011. She was very excited to help with the Historical Designation of the buildings and structures in and around the Crowsnest Pass.
- In November of 2011, Sasha volunteered her time to serve on the Rum Runner Days Committee. The committee spend much time and effort on the planning of last years Rum Runner Days, held July 19th to July 22nd, 2012. Sasha spent much of her time on the events planning and organizing, including booking various children's entertainment and a band for the Friday evening concert.
- Sasha is also a member of the Crowsnest Cultural and
Recreation Society. She plans on being very involved in helping this organization to achieve it's goal of the construction of a centralized Recreation Centre for the residents of the Crowsnest Pass.
